The property is located within a landscape conservation area in the Siebenmühlental. After a major fire in the sawmill at the end of 2006, the company had to be realigned. Craftsmanship of wood finishing on the one hand and innovative wood product trading on the other should be the two mainstays of the company in the future. The two new buildings form a common courtyard as a "foyer". Identical facades based on production-specific stacks of wood resulted in a design appropriate to the location and material with a high level of acceptance among employees and customers.  Due to the remote location, a self-sufficient energy supply had to be created by burning the wood waste in combination with a briquetting press and a general cargo oven. Electricity is generated by restoring a water turbine and a PV array on the storage building. All essential components consist of renewable ones  raw materials.
